Mike Sheehan

Mike Sheehan is an award-winning composer, producer and sound designer creating music for film, games and media. A classically trained musician who began piano at seven, he is a multi-instrumentalist whose scores combine orchestral writing, modern electronics and immersive sound design.
After studying music production and audio engineering, Mike made composition for screen and interactive work his full-time focus. His adaptable approach to genre and instrumentation makes him a trusted collaborator for filmmakers, game developers and creative teams looking for music with a strong narrative point of view.
His work has earned first-place and finalist recognition in international scoring competitions and has been featured at film music festivals. He has composed for The Northern Film Orchestra and collaborated with talent from productions including The Chosen and Chicago P.D..
Alongside composition, Mike is Stellar Sound’s mastering engineer. More than two decades of production experience and his background running a recording studio give him an end-to-end perspective on the audio process—from first sketch through polished, delivery-ready masters.
